This tool has the same functionality as the YA-4 pneumatic hand tool, but it is operated by a foot switch that leaves both hands free to hold the wire and terminal in position while the terminal is crimped on to a wire.
The range of dies can be found on the downloads tab. Dies for
insulated and uninsulated terminals in the range of 1.25 to 14mm² can be
used with this tooling.
A pneumatic control box is also available to incorporate with the
tool, to ensure that the crimp is fully formed within the crimping
cycle (as shown in main photograph). Once the footswitch is depressed, the control box ensures that
the jaws are fully depressed, and the terminal crimped to the optimum
condition, before the dies are released by the timer mechanism.
The control box also incorporates a resettable counter, which keeps track of how many terminals have been crimped on the tool.
Details of the 'MP-CB(CE)' control box can be found on the 'Accessories' page on this website.
